Just thought I would show some pics of my new car I got earlier this week.

Sorry for the size, that is what my cell phone was set to.

In my house there's a rule of thumb about chongin out the car/truck when it's new.
You have the same ride as Pebbles. Only different colors.
Grats!

I sold my truck to a guy for $1600. As far as the A/C, we called the landlord people and they are taking care of it. I had been planning on a new car for around a month now.

mine is a 6er 4.3L @286HP

1999 Chevy S-10 is stocked at 180-190 hp . Would take some serious rocket fuel to get it going at 286 hp. Could you be referring to torque? You would win a race but comparing a stock v4 to a v6 is like apples and oranges.

It would take an 8(or a sc 6) to get that much torque. My v-10 has just under 225 stock. Now that I bought a Hypertech I get more like 300. Add 50 for the horse power.

My wife's '03 Toyota 4runner(v8) has 325 stock on the torque and 235 HP.

its the Vortec V6, the same motor that goes into the X-treme, with a K&N intake
plus my dad works with a guy who used to be a professional mechanic and he said what i have is basically a 350 with 2 pistons taken out

EDIT after doing some wiki-ing i found this http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chevy_S-10#Engines_2 so i guess i stand corrected but i think the guy who owned it before me had it dyno'd i just have to find the paper with the results

High Performance Engine Tuning. For those of us who don't use chips, we plug and play.

Albeit my truck is a 2001. The 10 hasn't changed.

Banana Math Lesson #1

Rag's truck stock = 190hp (Stock best case) 190
Turbocharger = 35% increase 67
30hp NOS kit = 30hp 30
Exhaust System = 17hp 17
Switch to electric fans = 5hp 5

Grand total 309hp

It would probably cost around $3500 to $4000 to have that installed but it would be priceless to see RAG get to WALMART in 15 seconds :bfuck:

Nice looking car Widow, I do hope that car came with oars so you can now get around. You probably would have made a better investment if you bougt a boat. :)

Widow's car is a mazda 3 and my wifes car is a 6. For the most part I like my wifes car, except for the A/C, it really cant cut it here in this shithole during the summer time.

Well totally redid the A/C system in the Mazdas for the 2007. Not sure which year yours is. The A/C is great in it now.

I was out of town for the big rain storm we had. I was camping at a lake though. Lake got a bit high. Trees started to disappear under the water.

Bring that A/C to vegas and let's test it out. It's only been around 117 degrees here. That should make the inside of your car about 150 to 160 degrees, let's crank that puppy on and see how long it take to cool down.

It all depends on what you want and how much you're willing to spend.
Around 5G installed. Unless you were bargain shopping, you could do it for less.
