OKay im back home now =)
Nathaniel Edward was born Aug 26th.
Weighed 8 pounds 12 ounces, 21 inches long, 13.5 cm head (ouch!)
Luckily we made it to the hospital in time (it was close). We had to stay an extra day cuz my blood pressure was high. Other that it went pretty quick and too quick to get any pain meds! But we pulled through.
So here he is!

ROFL, grats!
WELCOME TO THE WORLD, NATHANIEL EDWARD!!
Marsha, now that your son has joyously entered your world, I felt the need to remind of a few things. It has been a few (er, quite a few!) years since you last gave birth, so I prepared some notable quotes to help you remember those times, as well as some sage thoughts and advice.
First, some funny quotes for you to giggle (or wince with recollection) about:
1. "People who say they sleep like a baby usually don't have one."
2. "I can't think why mothers love them. All babies do is leak at both ends."
3. "Now the thing about having a baby - and I can't be the first person to have noticed this - is that thereafter you have it."
4. "Babies don't need a vacation but I still see them at the beach. I'll go over to them and say, 'What are you doing here, you've never worked a day in your life!"
5. "My friend has a baby. I'm recording all the noises he makes so later I can ask him what he meant."
6. "The worst feature of a new baby is its mother's singing."
7. "Every baby has turned into a ticking time bomb that can go off in your hand."
8. "Watching a baby being born is a little like watching a wet St. Bernard coming in through the cat door."
7. "There are three reasons for breast-feeding: the milk is always at the right temperature; it comes in attractive containers; and the cat can't get it."
Now, a few heartfelt ones:
1. "Making the decision to have a child is momentous. It is to decide forever to have your heart go walking around outside your body."
2. "Babies are always more trouble than you thought -- and more wonderful."
3. "When the first baby laughed for the first time, the laugh broke into a thousand pieces and they all went skipping about, and that was the beginning of fairies. And now when every new baby is born its first laugh becomes a fairy. So there ought to be."
4. "Boys are found everywhere -- on top of, underneath, inside of, climbing on, swinging from, running around or jumping to. Mothers love them, little girls hate them, older sisters and brothers tolerate them, adults ignore them and Heaven protects them. A boy is Truth with dirt on its face, Beauty with a cut on its finger, Wisdom with bubble gum in its hair and the Hope of the future with a frog in its pocket."
5. "Before you were conceived I wanted you
Before you were born I loved you
Before you were here an hour I would die for you
This is the miracle of love."
Hope this made you smile!
Thankfuly it all went well, congratulations
By the way Marsha, how are/were you enjoying all the kinfolk/in-laws that bum-rushed your home over the last week or so?:bouncy:
Compared to that, I bet the physical pain of giving birth was nothing, LOL!
